Every time you travel abroad, you are an accidental tourist. This is the reason why I assigned this name for this blog. Whenever possible, I'll post some impressions about Kansas, and you will be able to see what it's like. Hope you learn. Hope you laugh. Hope you enjoy.

A little bit of Old Prairie
Last Saturday I was to Old Prairie Town, in Topeka, KS. It is an interesting spot for a historical tour, specially if you're interested on settlers daily routine. You have sort of a small town built there, with materials aged back to 1800s.
There was a railroad and there are some stores, a school, a mansion, and ... sort of a hut at the museum. There are lots of old instruments doctors and dentists used to work with at the drugstore, which nowadays is actually an ice cream store. Besides, there is an old general store where you can buy souvenirs. It's worth seeing!

Hi Ms. Paranoyd! I really enjoyed reading your blog. Do you think you could design an assignment asking your students to convince people to visit a special place back home in Brazil and then blog about it?
